Blacktown is a city in Western Sydney with a vibrant and diverse population that represents people groups from 180 countries around the globe. This rich diversity of ethnic backgrounds is also seen within our school community. Overseas students therefore are very much a part of our very diverse culture.
Overseas students at Tyndale are cared for by a team of dedicated staff, including our Registrar, Overseas Students Officer, Student Services staff, EAL Teachers, Heads of Schools and our Deputy Principal. We have a number of staff who can act as interpreters when required and work closely with Year Advisers and Student Welfare Coordinators through a pastoral care program to assist all students, including overseas students. Overseas students are provided with compulsory English tuition to assist them in achieving their expected learning outcomes.
The school is also able to provide accommodation through a network of homestay families for Overseas students not residing in Australia with a parent or direct relative.
If you are an international parent who is considering sending your child to Tyndale Christian School, please contact our Registrar, Ellen Lee, on +61 2 8811 7800 or complete anĀ Online Enquiry.
