Student Leadership
Students in Secondary School have opportunities to develop their leadership through a number of programs.
Students in Years 7 and 8 have the opportunity to be Class leaders, where they operate as role models and provide servant leadership to their teachers and peers.
In Years 9-12, students have the opportunity to be a part of the Student Leadership Committee. This team seeks to serve the community and provide direction for student ministries across the school. Students lead in a number of different portfolios and have the opportunity to minister in areas of their strengths. In Year 11, 4 of the Student Leadership Committee are recognised by Senior staff and become the Captains and Vice- Captains of the school.
Through both of these programmes, students are mentored by teachers within the school, allowing them to reflect on their developing leadership skills and to have a consistent support person as they grow and mature.
